In Shine 8, Valkyrie defeated Amazing Kong, Angelina Love, Christina Von Eerie, and Yim in an eight-woman tag team match. Kay won a qualifier for The Shine Championship Tournament at the Shine 10 Internet Pay-Per-View in May 2013. Lexie Fyfe ejected Kay after she interfered during the main event between Angelina Love (an ally) and Rain. Kay returned at Shine 13 and was paired with Ivelisse to win to beat Amazing Kong and Jessicka Havok.
