Jana Kramer is a country musician, actor and singer who rose to stardom on television when she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. The show featured her debut release as a country artist which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. Over the past decade, she was a guest on Dancing with the Stars as she did in TV films and various TV shows. The singer also released some singles which were not albums. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices came out. Growing up in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was a country music fanatic growing up. music and would eventually pursue a recording career but she made her debut as an actor appearing on screen in the indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teen years. Her appearances were in guest spots on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was later cast to portray Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was tapped for One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. She signed a contract with Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I Will Not Go Down" in the show's episode. It was later featured on her debut album Jana Kramer in mid-2012. This song landed on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, which is in the Top Five. She remained focused on her career in music afterward, she did not stop acting. she was a part of films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at number 3 in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two month stint on 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. It was also the year that she landed an adult contemporary smash, with the song Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
