She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. After graduating, her first job was with the real estate business. Tarek El-Moussa and her husband, was also in the industry. The couple had a great time up until 2008's stock market crash when many real estate and home flippers went bust. In the aftermath of the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing all their assets. They were living in an apartment that cost $6,000 per month, to a house that cost $700 a month. They gradually rebuilt their business and the entire economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek asked his close associate to record a HGTV audition video in 2011 featuring him as well as Christina flipping over a home. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. They fell in love with Tarek and Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a contract with HGTV. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. For seven seasons, the show ran from 2013 until 2017. The show's characters, Christina and Tarek would buy properties, typically mid-income homes situated in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several weeks making upgrades so they could sell the house for an income.
