Hossack is a native of Steinbach, Manitoba Canada. In her early years her family lived studying within Killarney Manitoba. She was active in musical theatre productions. As she began the process of completing her Brandon University education, she was a piano major. Her focus changed to vocal. She then tried drama and afterwards stated that she only was interested in acting when she finished her studies. Banff School of Fine Arts was her next stop following she graduated from Brandon. Hossack began his stage show at the Rainbow Stage as well as the Muskoka Festival, in Winnipeg. Other World (1989-1992); Cobra (1993-1994) and Profit (1996); Hope Island (1999) as well as Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital (2004). In 2006, she starred in the role of Falcon Beach for Canadian TV.
